Quezon Province is a long ride but so worth it! Far from crowded places to enjoy the stars, the calmness of the ocean, and the white sand!"
EXPECTATION:
1. It takes about about 6 - 7hrs to get there. It includes the ride from Lucena - Unisan.
2. The amount allotted for this trip is P1400. It includes food, kubo, and transportation. This is good for 10 pax. This is for all 3 islands. You can customize your trip if you don't want to go to the other islands. I will be including the prices at the bottom.
3. There is electricity on the island but only in kubo (nipa hut) but it is used for lighting. There is no socket for charging.
4. There is an entrance fee/overnight fee which you have to pay for each of the islands.
5. All of the 3 islands have white sand. You can remove your slippers or shoes and feel how soft the sand is.
6. The only Island that offers bonfire is Dampalitan, for P100.
7. The most crowded Island is Puting Buhangin.
8. Please be careful as there are baby jelly fish around. If you do feel that one sticks on you., don't panic. Just stay in the water and lightly remove the baby jelly fish from your skin. NEVER GET OUT OF THE WATER, AS THEY WILL STICK TO YOU UNTIL YOU GET HURT.
9. Kwebang Lampas is located in Puting Buhangin
10. There is a sand bar located in Dampalitan Island.
11. You can take a shower in Dampalitan and Puting Buhangin but it is not nice as Borawan. You have to buy a pale of water and take a bath at the CR, unlike in Borawan, there is shower room with running water.
12. Borawan's beach water is not as clear as the other island.
13. Borawan is best to take a shower, relax and go beach bumming.
14. The islands might be pricey. Buy all the things you need from May Ann store. They will have everything you need from rice, beer, chips, shampoo, and soap.
15. There are no souvenir shops on any of the islands. If you want to buy "pasalubong" you can buy it at Lucena Grand Central.
Here are the entrance fees and what to expect from each of the islands
GETTING THERE:

Don't forget to take pics when you are at May Ann Store.
HELPFUL TIPS:
1. Bring light snacks and use the CR before taking the bus to go to Manila - Lucena and Lucena - Manila. There are no stop overs.
2. There is no time frame nor cut off to go to any of the Islands. Make sure to text Tita Tess so she can get everything ready for you when you arrive.
3. No need to bring cooking-ware and utensils. Tita Tess will let you borrow them. Just ask her what you would like to borrow.
4. Bring your power banks as there are no power sockets.
5. Buy food that are easy to cook or easy to preheat. You will use coal to cook your food.
6. On the day you go on your island hopping, make sure to cook your food on the island you stayed on. It will be hard for you to cook your food on a different island and you will be exhausted with all the fun you will have. There is a small restaurant/canteen in Puting Buhangin and Borawan where you can order food, but expect it to be pricey.
7. My recommendation is to stay on Dampalitan Island since they are cheaper. Only for P100 overnight stay and you can enjoy the bonfire for only P100. Try to stay at their Kubo instead of a tent. Ranges from P850 - P1500. Text them to have it reserved. There are only 3 Kubos on the Island.
8. There is a signal on all of the Islands.
9. Bring plastic and a bag to put your valuables. When in Puting Buhangin you have to leave your bags to enjoy. You can talk to the people on the island and ask if you can leave your bag, but make sure to bring with you all your valuables wherever you go.
10. When going home to Manila make sure to leave May Ann Store before 5PM, as it gets dark sooner.
11. If you are interested with a 3-Island Hopping, the total boat rental is P1800, regardless of the number of people. Maximum is 10pax.
12. During the afternoon it is low tide and you need to walk to go to May Ann Store.
13. In Borawan there are 2 shower room locations. Ask the guide to bring you to the other side, it is much more cleaner and has a shower head.
